The first attraction we are going to catch up is of magnificent Ambar Fort – enjoy the royal elephant ride through the rampart right up to the castle. Today, your entire day is at the disposal of golden city of Jaisalmer. The morning hours will be spent in a spectacular visit to the Sonar Quila (Jaisalmer Fort), perched at the height of 80m above the planes. You will be amazed to see that about 500 people live in the periphery of the fort. It’s not surprising, the stone stairs leading to the fort top are actually the private pass-way of a local family’s housing inside the fort.
